Highland rebranded Catbike with a modern identity system — including a corporate logo and bike emblem — fully embraced by its community.
Catbike is a specialized bicycle store with a strong local presence and a loyal customer base. In 2020, the brand needed a visual identity that matched the quality, energy, and modernity of its products and services. Highland was commissioned to lead a complete rebranding process, aiming to reposition Catbike with a fresh, contemporary image.
The objective was to maintain brand recognition while evolving towards a more dynamic and flexible identity system. The challenge was to connect with existing customers while creating a design language that could grow with the company’s vision — both in-store and on the road.
The rebrand was met with full acceptance and enthusiasm from Catbike’s customer base. The new identity has elevated the brand’s perception, supporting its growth and reinforcing its values of quality, innovation, and passion for cycling. The dual-logo system gave Catbike flexibility and a distinctive visual presence, both in-store and on its products.
Highland developed two complementary versions of the new logo: a corporate identity for use across all brand communications and a standalone badge designed specifically for placement on bicycles. The visual system is clean, bold, and adaptable, allowing for clear brand consistency across all touchpoints — from signage and packaging to online channels and bike frames.
