An emotional debut with cinematic quality

Lluny was the debut audiovisual project by Masvidal, an emerging Catalan rock band formed by classically trained musicians with a clear artistic vision. In a landscape dominated by global trends and fast-paced content, the group chose an honest and introspective path, rooted in territory and authenticity. Rather than follow conventional formulas, they sought a piece with emotional depth and visual beauty—more than a video, a statement of intent. At Highland, we approached the project with a narrative, almost cinematic mindset. The goal was not to illustrate the lyrics but to build a visual story that resonated—especially with those familiar with Girona, which appears both as setting and emotional anchor. Every creative detail—from location scouting to casting and editing—was handled with auteur-level precision to ensure the result felt true and compelling.
